German President to make official visit to Uzbekistan from May 27-29

AKIPRESS.COM - German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will visit Uzbekistan on May 27-29 at the invitation of President Mirziyoyev, the Uzbek president's press service reports.
The Presidents of two countries will discuss prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation in trade, political, economic, investments, financial, technical, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The German President will meet representatives of leading companies and banks of Uzbekistan, will visit several industrial enterprises and other sites.
The German President will visit Khorezm region, where he will meet faculty and students of the Urgench State University and will visit historical and architectural sightseeing spots.
The agreements aimed at further deepening of bilateral relations in economics, finances, education, health care, environmental protection are expected to be signed.
