Bishkek, May 27, 2019. /Kabar/. An automated information-analytical system of residential institutions for children has been created in Kyrgyzstan, Minister of Social Development Ulukbek Kochkorov told at the round table: "Possibilities of information-analytical system in the process of management of reforming of children's institutions of boarding type."
He said that the Ministry of Social Development is working on the digitalization of the processes within the ministry. One of such achievements is the automated information and analytical system of residential institutions for children, which was created in the country.
He noted that the commission has learned that there are more than 12 thousand children in orphanages in the country. Only 5% of these are orphans, while the rest have one parent and both, but due to difficult life circumstances, the child ended up in an orphanage.
"And we hope that this system will help to create openness and remove the existing corruption elements. And we also believe that there will be openness and transparency in the system of work with boarding schools with the introduction of this automated database," Kochkorov said.
According to the head of the department’s words, this system will be used to carry out a detailed analysis of the child's history - how he got to the orphanage, why and under what circumstances, what kind of work was done and what work is being done today, etc.
He noted that the base was created with the support of the European Union.
