German President arrives in Uzbekistan on official visit

AKIPRESS.COM - German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier arrived in Uzbekistan on official visit on May 27. The German President was welcomed by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov upon arrival.
The Presidents of Germany and Uzbekistan will hold talks today to address expansion of cooperation in political, trade, economic, investments, financial, technical, cultural and humanitarian spheres, the Uzbek president's press service said.
The German President will meet representatives of business circles, will attend several events.
On May 29, the Gerrman President will visit Khorezm region.
