Presidents of Uzbekistan, Germany hold talks in Tashkent

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier held talks in restricted attendance and then at the level of delegations in Tashkent, the Uzbek president's press service said. Ways to further expand trade, economic, political, investment, financial, technical, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as international and regional issues were addressed during the talks.
It was noted the bilateral grade grew by 25% and exceeded $770 million in 2018.
The bilateral documents were signed upon conclusion of the talks.
The agreements on exchange and protection of information, cooperation in reduction of greenhouse gas emission, climate change adaptation, production of commercial vehicles with Volkswagen were signed.
