Probe into wiretapping of ex-President Almazbek Atambayev launched

AKIPRESS.COM - General Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan said it has launched a probe into wiretapping of ex-President Almazbek Atambayev.
The reports said that an alleged representative of the National Security Committee tried to persuade an employee of the SDPK party to help install wiretapping equipment in the work rooms of ex-President Atambayev and his deputy Farid Niyazov.
On May 24, probes into breach of privacy, violation of secrecy of correspondence, and power abuse were launched, the statement said.
