China donates vehicles to Kyrgyz Ministry of Internal Affairs

Bishkek, June 3, 2019. /Kabar/. The Ministry of Public Security of China donated to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic buses, minibuses, SUVs, armoured police vehicles worth 30 million yuan.
Kyrgyz Internal Affairs Minister Kashkar Dzhunushaliyev and Zhao Kezhi, the State Councilor, Minister of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and its further development prospects.
After discussion of the main issues, the sides signed Protocol "On providing material and technical assistance and (police) equipment to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic on gratitous basis" for the total amount of 30 million Chinese yuan.
Minister Dzhunushaliyev today, on June 3 inspected the vehicles (buses, minibuses, SUVs, armoured police vehicles), which arrived from China on the parade ground of the Shumkar special operations regiment.
Then Kashkar Dzhunushaliyev conducted a combat inspection of the personnel of the central apparatus of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Internal Affairs. The personnel and heads of all units of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part. The purpose of this event was to develop the skills of combat training of the personnel of the internal affairs body, to maintain an exemplary appearance and combat readiness of the staff to perform operational and service tasks.
The minister noted that representatives of law enforcement agencies have a huge responsibility to ensure public order during the summit of heads of state of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
