Newly appointed agriculture minister informs PM Abylgaziev about main directions of work

Bishkek, June 3, 2019. /Kabar/. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev received Erkinbek Choduyev, the newly appointed Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Choduyev informed the prime minister about the main directions of the ministry’s work in the short and medium term, the press service of the Government reported.
During the meeting the sides discussed issues of current activity of the ministry, perspectives of agrarian industry’s development, as well as cooperation with domestic scientific institutes in the field of agriculture.
Abylgaziev emphasized the importance of working out projects aimed at the development of agriculture with the use of modern technologies, as well as the support of producers whose products are oriented to export.
The head of government ordered Choduyev to prepare an action plan for the development of priority areas in agriculture, taking into account the proposals of members of parliament, expressed during the approval of his candidacy for the position of Minister.
Erkinbek Choduyev was appointed the Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of Kyrgyzstan on Apr. 30, 2019 replacing Nurbek Murashev, who resigned voluntarily.
