30 associations receive special machinery for irrigation

AKIPRESS.COM - A ceremony of handover of excavators-bulldozers "Amkodor 702EV" to 30 associations was held in Bishkek on June 4 with participation of Prime Minister Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev, the government said.
Special machinery was purchased on grant funds in the framework of the World Bank's "Sustainable Agriculture Productivity Improvement Project."
PM Abilgaziyev reminded of the irrigation development program 2017-2026 adopted in 2017.
"30 associations of water users covering 63,200 hectares of land are receiving today special equipment that will help improve irrigation," he said.
