Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy plans to open Service Centre for Entrepreneurs to reduce corruption risks

Bishkek, June 4, 2019. /Kabar/. The Ministry of Economy submits for public debate a draft government decision "On the establishment of the Service Centre for Entrepreneurs in the Kyrgyz Republic State Institution."
The draft decision is developed in order to create the Service Center for Entrepreneurs, which will simplify the procedures for getting public services and issuance of licensing and permitting documents, reduce the time for obtaining them, provide and render quality, timely and accessible services to entrepreneurs, develop the competence and skills of entrepreneurs through training, eliminate corruption mechanisms.
Public authorities provide 407 services on fee-paying basis and free of charge, and 95 of them are provided to entrepreneurs, while these public services are provided in different buildings in the relevant public authority of the Kyrgyz Republic, which is inconvenient and costly for business entities.
The Service Center will provide services, assistance, advice, educational services, etc. to both novice and experienced entrepreneurs.
The draft also proposes the approval the Charter of the Service Center. The draft of Charter was developed in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and based on the results of the study and expected to be approved by government’s decision.
The launch of the Service Centre for Entrepreneurs in Osh is underway with the support of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
At present a search for a land plot or a premise for placement on the territory of Bishkek for the Service Center for Entrepreneurs is being carried out.
