Presidents of Uzbekistan, Turkey hold talks

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan held phone talks on June 4.
The Presidents congratulated on Eid al-Fitr each other ans exchanged warm wishes.
They praised the grown bilateral trade by 30% for 4 months and the doubled number of joint ventures during the last one year and a half.
Importance of a thorough preparation of the first meeting of Uzbekistan-Turkey Strategic Cooperation Council was emphasized during the talks.
The Presidents agreed that working groups at the level of the Foreign Ministers and the intergovernmental commission will meet in the nearest time.
International and regional issues were considered among other topics.
