Presidential candidates comment on preliminary vote results in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Presidential nominees in Kazakhstan have commented on the exit poll results, Kazinform reported.
According to representative of the Un Tagdyry movement Amirjan Kosanov, for the first time in the history of Kazakhstan a representative of the opposition gained a great number of votes.
"I'd like to say that this achievement is unique, because for the first time in the history of Kazakhstan a representative of the Kazah opposition reaches such a sufficiently serious political level without joints efforts, without an independent political party, which is more than the percentages necessary to win the elections of the parliamentary elections of two political parties," Kosanov said.
Representative of the Ak-Zhol party Daniya Bespayeva said she received many telephone calls from voters, who expressed their support for her. The politician noted that votes were held very tense and gave her a professional experience.
"According to preliminary data, I am in the third place and this is a high indicator for me. In addition, I became the first woman presidential candidate in the history of independent Kazakhstan," Bespayeva said.
Tolentai Rahimbekov nominated by Auyl party thanked his supporters and said that a political platform of his party is fully aimed at prosperity and rural settlements.
Another nominee in the election Sadi-bek Tugel said people made their choice and congratulated Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev on a big victory. According to him, election was open and fair.
The interim president of Kazakhstan, Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev, according to th eexit poll results, won the snap presidential election with 70.13% of vote.
