Tax Service Development Strategy for 2019-2021 approved in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, June 10, 2019. /Kabar/. The Development Strategy of the State Tax Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2019-2021 was approved. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev signed relevant Government decree.
The strategy is aimed at further improving and increasing the efficiency of tax administration (creation of an efficient modern tax administration) by implementing the tasks of introducing and developing remote methods of tax administration, as well as ensuring the accurate and timely execution of the Kyrgyz tax legislation by the taxpayer and tax authorities, the press service of the Government reported.
The implementation of this document will ensure the improvement of business conditions for taxpayers through the simplification of administration procedures and the possibility of fulfilling tax obligations on e- basis, without direct contact with the official of the tax authorities, which will reduce the time and, consequently, the material costs of the taxpayer to fulfill obligations on budgetary payments.
All the measures envisaged in the Strategy for the Development of the Tax Service are aimed at the removal of shadow flows and turnover from the informal sector of the economy, which will ensure a significant increase of the tax base and tax revenues’ growth.
