About 50 more protesters arrested in Almaty

AKIPRESS.COM - Law enforcement officers detained about 50 demonstrators on June 10 in the city of Almaty, vlast.kz reported. One of the detained women has slit her vein, she has reportedly been taken away in ambulance car.
Police earlier had cordoned off the demonstrations site near the Zhastar palace in the city of Nur-Sultan, as social media users report.
The snap presidential election in Kazakhstan ended on June 9 with the election turnout of 77.4%. Interim president Kasym Zhomart Tokayev won the election with 70.76% of vote.
