President Mirziyoyev congratulates Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev on election win

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on June 10 held a telephone talk with the newly elected President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev, the President's press service said.
Mirziyoyev congratulated Tokayev on landslide victory in the election of Kazakhstan and underlined that the new impetus to the development of bilateral cooperation was given by the fist state visit of President of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan this April, when several cooperation documents were signed.
The Presidents also discussed Uzbek-Kazakh relations during the talks. They considered the schedule of upcoming high-level events.
The two stressed the priority of further development of partnership between the countries.
