President Mirziyoyev to hold bilateral talks on sidelines of Bishkek SCO, Dushanbe CICA Summits

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit on June 13-14 in Bishkek and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Dushanbe on June 15, the president's press service reports.
The SCO Summit will consider aspects of development and enhancement of multifaceted cooperation in priority areas. The leaders will exchange views on relevant international and regional issues.
A package of documents will be signed at the summit aimed at expansion of multifaceted partnership, expansion of interregional ties, cooperation in digitization, information technologies, ecology, tourism, sport and other areas.
The theme of the fifth CICA Summit is a common view on safe and prosperous region. More than 30 delegations of the member states, observers, representatives of international and regional organizations are expected to partake.
The President of Uzbekistan will hold several bilateral talks with other leaders on the sidelines of the Bishkek and Dushanbe summits.
