Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is sworn in as President of Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Inauguration of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev started in the city of Nur-Sultan on June 12.
Tokayev was sworn in as President of Kazakhstan with his hand put on the nation's constitution.
The Central Election Commission Chairman Berik Imashev handed over presidential certificate to the elected President. "It was a fair vote," Imashev said in his speech.
There were no foreign guests at the inauguration ceremony.
According to official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Aibek Smadiyarov, a diplomatic corps accredited in the country was invited to the ceremony.
The CEC on June 10 conducted final calculation of the snap presidential election of Kazakhstan, where Tokayev gained 70.96% of votes.
