Mongolian Embassy opened officially in Bishkek

Bishkek, June 12, 2019. /Kabar/. The official opening of the Mongolian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan took place in Bishkek with the participation of President Khaltmaagiin Battulga and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov.
Battulga noted in his opening speech that the opening of the Mongolian Embassy is an important event in the history of Mongolian-Kyrgyz relations.
"I would like to emphasize that the opening of the embassy during my official visit to Kyrgyzstan, an important partner in Central Asia, is a proof that our country attaches great importance to Mongolian-Kyrgyz friendly relations. Our countries, relying on historical events, learn from each other, closely cooperate for development in all directions. I am confident that Mongolian-Kyrgyz relations will contribute to global and regional security in globalization era and will serve the interests of our peoples," he said.
The Mongolian leader also noted that the embassy will become a bridge that will make a significant contribution to trade and economic relations between the two countries.
Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov noted that Mongolia is a brotherly country for the Kyrgyz Republic.
"Both countries have longstanding cultural and historical ties and they support each other's initiatives and provide mutual support within the framework of international organizations. There is full mutual understanding between our countries, which allows to develop fruitful cooperation on the basis of friendship and mutual trust. It is obvious that the sides have a sufficient basis for cooperation in politics. I am confident that our countries have something to learn from each other and borrow in building a democratic society. Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia are countries with a parliamentary form of government. Strengthening cooperation between our brotherly peoples is in the best interests of the two countries," Aidarbekov said.
Foreign minister noted that the opening of the embassy is a confirmation that both countries will continue to deepen brotherly relations.
A Consulate General of Mongolia was existed previously in Kyrgyzstan. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in 1992.
Mongolian President has arrived in Kyrgyzstan for an official visit.
