60 more streets in Bishkek to be rehabilitated with China’s assistance

AKIPRESS.COM - Bishkek mayor Aziz Surakmatov today met the Chinese delegation led by the International Economic Cooperation Office Chief of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce. Ongoing road construction projects in Bishkek funded by China were discussed at the meeting.
The mayor said preparations for the second phase of the Bishkek road and street network development project were carried out, which will include rehabilitation of 60 streets 70.87 km in length.
The draft protocol for implementation of the second phase of the project has been agreed on with the Chinese side. The document will be signed during the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
