Bishkek Mayor Surakmatov meets with delegation from China

Bishkek, June 12, 2019. /Kabar/. Mayor of Bishkek Aziz Surakmatov met with a delegation of the Department of Foreign Economic Cooperation under the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, headed by its Director Li Xiao Bing, the press service of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office reported.
The sides discussed the implementation of existing grant projects in Bishkek in the field of road construction.
Mayor Surakmatov noted that preparatory work for the implementation of the second phase of the Development of the street and road network of Bishkek project is done. To date, the two sides has agreed the draft protocol on the implementation of the 2nd phase, the signing of which is planned within the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping on June 13 this year.
Zhang Min Wu, the head of the Asian Department of Foreign Economic Cooperation under the Ministry of Commerce of China, Ulanbek Azygaliyev, Deputy Mayor of the capital, and Ulan Uyezbayev, Deputy Head of the capital construction department attended the talks.
