Chinese investors mainly invest in development of deposits

Bishkek, June 13, 2019. / Kabar /. Chinese companies in Kyrgyzstan invest mainly in the development of deposits, refining of petroleum products and agriculture, adviser on trade and economic issues of the Chinese Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, Li Yue told during the Kyrgyz-Chinese business forum.
He stated that Kyrgyzstan is a good neighbor and partner of China.
"Relations between Kyrgyzstan and China have a long history of friendship. In recent years, friendship has strengthened. Trade and economic cooperation continues to deepen," he said.
Li Yue also noted that bilateral trade is developing between the two countries.
He recalled that in 2018 the volume of trade between Kyrgyzstan and China amounted to USD 2 billion.
