Imran Khan: SCO countries could use their own currencies for trade

AKIPRESS.COM - Belt and Road Initiative is one of the most important initiatives, said Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan during the restricted attendance talks on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Bishkek.
Chinese-Pakistani economic corridor is also considered within such initiatives, he said.
"Development of cooperation is moving towards the East," he noted. PM Khan believes that further integration and cooperation is necessary.
He said the countries could use own currencies in trading within the organization. He also called on the SCO to support food security and create conditions for the fight against corruption and large-scale money laundering.
