Government of Kazakhstan passes $1.6 billion state guarantee fund for Astana LRT

AKIPRESS.COM - The government of Kazakhstan has approved a state guarantee in the amount of $1.6 billion for the Astana LRT capital transport company, the decree reads.
The decree is aimed at construction of the new transport system of the city of Nur-Sultan.
The total cost of the project is 698 billion tenge. Construction period is 2016-2020.
Construction will be funded by the China Development Bank, as well as internal financial resources.
