AKIPRESS.COM - Any problem can be resolved through talks and compromise, rather than with sanctions and war, President of Iran Hassan Rouhani said at the SCO Summit today in Bishkek. The SCO Summit is held in the time when the world community faces unprecedented challenges and problems: terrorism, extremism, intervention of transregional countries into other regions, interference into internal affairs of other countries have put international community into a dangerous situation that can threaten stability and security of all countries of the world, he said.
"The nearby regions face many crises that put these areas into critical condition, destroy primary infrastructure of the countries and pose threat to security. The U.S. Government during the last 2 years violate all international rules, uses its economic and military resources and realizes aggressive approach that pose threat to stability in the region and the world," the President of Iran said.
"In Iraq and Syria we fought for peace, in Afghanistan were play a productive role in fight against extremism in cooperation with UN. We do not reject any efforts to bring peace to Yemen. We always keep doors open for bilateral and regional dialogue with all neighbors. We do not want and are not going to through any nation into the sea it and have it drowned. We have resolved and presented a democratic approach built upon voice of people to resolution of Palestine problem," President Rouhani stated.
According to IAEA reports, Iran has met all obligations, however the United States unilaterally withdrew from the agreement and forces other countries and parties to violate the resolution of the UN Security Council, which calls for normal trade relations with Iran, he emphasized.
Iran asks all remaining parties to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action to meet their obligations, so that Iran will be able to realize its economic interests, the President of Iran said.
