Mongolia explores levels of increase of its participation in SCO – Battulga

AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolia is exploring levels of increase of its participation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, President Khaltmaagiin Battulga said at the SCO Summit today in Bishkek. Discussions are held in political and public circles of the country. Mongolian citizens differ in opinions on SCO membership, this is why Mongolia is grateful for the plan to step up cooperation between SCO member states and SCO observer states, he said.
"We will try to make our contribution into SCO aimed at peace, security, development of the countries and well-being of nations," Khaltmaagiin Battulga said.
Mongolia is interested in cooperation in culture, education, health care, environment, nature disaster response, drug fight, the Mongolian President said.
