Kazakhstan plans to boost export of agricultural products

AKIPRESS.COM - The total export of agricultural products in 2018 grew by 24.5%, including export of processed products - by 3.5%, Kazinform reports.
"The country plans to negotiate with Israel, Turkey, Kuwait, Oman, Japan, South Korea and the European countries on export of agricultural products," Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Saparkhan Omarov said during the meeting with the population.
According to him, the Chinese market is open for 13 product groups - fish products, breeding horses, frozen lamb, honey, wheat, soy bean, beef and others.
A roadmap with Chinaon harmonization of import requirements for priority-oriented agricultural products from Kazakhstan was signed in 2018.
