Boyhood photo of President Tokayev appears on media

AKIPRESS.COM - Spokesman of the President of Kazakhstan Berik Uali uploaded a boyhood photo of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Facebook, Zakon.kz reported.
In his caption to the photo, Berik Uali reminded that the Unified National Testing among school graduates has been launched in the country and that the head of state ordered relevant bodies to organize it in accordance with the legislation of the country. Tokayev himself successfully passed his exams in his life, the President's spokesman noted.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was sworn in as Kazakh leader on June 12 after his landslide victory in the snap vote.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev became the interim president following Nursultan Nazarbayev's resignation on 19 March 2019. Prior to that, he was a Senate Speaker, a post now assumed by Nazarbayev's daughter Dariga Nazarbayeva.
