Amateur athletes from 10 countries take part in large-scale race in Osh

Osh, June 24, 2019 /Kabar/. A large-scale race "Mol Bulak Osh Demi" took place on June 23 for the first time in Osh city.
Deputy Mayor of Osh Nurbek Kadyrov, deputies of the city parliament, youth and sportsmen, sports fans from about 10 countries, including Kazakhstan, Russia, China, India, Armenia, Pakistan, South Africa, Uganda and all regions of Kyrgyzstan took part in the race.
The race included more than 800 people. Competitions were held at distances of three and ten kilometers, and at 200 meters and 500 meters for children.
The winners (first five places) in five age categories were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes.
The purpose of the event is to encourage residents of the southern regions to live a healthy lifestyle, in particular, running and promoting sports among the population.
Organizers of the race note that this is the first long-distance race in Osh.
