Drug Trafficking Service starts checking all food enterprises exporting goods abroad after 670 kg of heroin seized on German-Polish border

AKIPRESS.COM - Drug Trafficking Service of Kyrgyzstan said it started checking all food enterprises in Kyrgyzstan that export their goods abroad following the case in Germany, when 670 kilograms of heroin were confiscated in a truck originating from Kyrgyzstan.
The drugs were discovered on the night of May 31 to June 1 in Frankfurt (Oder), a city directly on the German-Polish border, in a truck originating from Kyrgyzstan. The heroin was disguised as Turkish sweets, with 532 packages containing 1.3 kilograms each.
All factories including the confectionery that will be of interest to the investigation will be checked, the statement said.
