Ambassador Omuraliyev meets with Senior Adviser to Turkey’s President

Bishkek, June 24, 2019. /Kabar/. Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliyev held a meeting with Senior Adviser to President of Turkey Yalçın Topçu in the Kyrgyz Embassy’s building as a return visit of Topçu.
Topçu stressed that Kyrgyzstan is a brotherly country for Turkey, a member country of the Turkic Council and the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), and noted the importance of the activities of Manas University and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) in Kyrgyzstan.
The senior adviser emphasized the need for unity and strength of the Turkic-Islamic world.
Topçu and Metin Gyundogdu, the Deputy of the Turkish Parliament, said that with the assistance of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Local Thought аoundation will organize the traditional "Turkish Cinema Week" in the capital of the Turkic world, Osh, in August of this year.
Yalçın Topçu was Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey in 2015, and was formerly the leader of the Great Union Party between 2009 and 2011. Mr. Topçu is also a member of the Control Commission of Manas University.
