The Embassy expressed sympathy to the young man injured in a traffic accident involving the Embassy employee on 18 June, the statement said.
After the pedestrian was hit by the Embassy worker, the employee parked the car and cooperated with the authorities at the spot, the statement said.
Representatives of the Embassy reached out to the young man through close cooperation with Kyrgyz authorities to ensure his safety and solve the problem, the statement said.
The social media users said earlier that the Embassy employee hit the pedestrian in Bishkek on a car with diplomatic plates and then fled the scene.
