President Tokayev transfers his 1-day wage to aid fund to blast-affected residents of Arys

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has transferred his 1-day salary to residents of Arys city affected by fire in ammunition warehouses, Zakon.kz reported.
"The accident in Arys united all Kazakhstanis. No one was left out of trouble. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev transferred his 1-day salary to the aid fund to those injured and killed. Employees of the Office of President supported his sponsorship," the President's spokesman Berik Uali posted on Facebook.
Some 165 people were affected by explosion. 89 of them were hospitalized, 76 released home for out-patient treatment, according to officials.
Death toll after blasts reached 2 people. Residents were evacuated to safe places.
