Nursultan Nazarbayev allocates his one-day salary to Arys residents

AKIPRESS.COM - Former President of Kazakhstan, Elbay (national leader) Nursultan Nazarbayev transferred his one-day salary to the special fund for residents of Arys city, Zakon.kz reports.
"Nursultan Nazarbayev called on all Kazakhstanis not to leave indifferent to the tragedy and trouble of the citizens," spokesman of the ex-president says in his statement.
A huge fire was reported at 9:20 am on June 24 at ammunition warehouse in the city of Arys. 165 people were affected by explosion. 89 of them were hospitalized, 76 released home for out-patient treatment. Death toll after blasts reached 2 people. Residents were evacuated to safe places.
