Head of investigation department of financial police arrested for taking bribes

AKIPRESS.COM - Head of the investigation department of the financial police was arrested red-handed while taking 70,000 soms of bribe on June 26, the anti-corruption service of the National Security Committee said.
The detainee extorted $5,000 bribe threatening to bring the victim to the criminal liability based on pre-trial investigation materials linked to violation of business activities in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Criminal probe into extortion of bribes was launched, investigation is under way.
