Meeting on implementation of Violation Code held in Osh

Bishkek, June 26, 2019. /Kabar/. Meeting with the participation of representatives of public and municipal authorities on the implementation of the Violation Code was held in Osh city under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Jenish Razakov, the press service of the Government reported.
The meeting was attended by the heads of regions and rural districts, mayors of cities, representatives of the offices of state administrations, as well as territorial units of the public authorities of Osh, Batken and Jalal-Abad Oblasts.
This meeting was organized by the Government to enhance the capacity of local governments and public authorities’ territorial units in the practical implementation of the Violation Code.
The participants touched upon the issues of further implementation of the novelties of the criminal law, as well as made presentation of the functionalities of the Unified Register of Violations.
At the same time, a discussion on current problems in the practical implementation of the Code's norms was held. The participants made a number of proposals on the functional capabilities of the Unified Register of Violations in order to improve its efficiency.
Deputy Prime Minister Razakov recommended strengthening the implementation of criminal law innovations and emphasis of work on the ground.
Besides, Razakov noted the necessity of timely informing about any problems with the implementation of judicial-legal reform in order to further discuss and eliminate them at the government level.
