AKIPRESS.COM - An earthquake of 5.5 magnitude was recorded near Kyrgyz-Tajik border on July 1 at 7:14 am, the Seismology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan reported. The earthquake was centered on the territory of the Tajikistan, 29 km south-west of Kara-Teyit village, 30 km south-west of Karamyk village, 112 km south-east of Batken town, 118 km south-west of the city of Osh.
Tremors in Kyrgyz villages were felt at 3 points.
