President Tokayev signs amendments to law on military-technical cooperation within CSTO

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed the law on ratification of the 4th protocol on amendments to the agreement on basic principles of military and technical cooperation between the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Akorda press service said. Supplies of military products on preferential terms are carried out by the member states in the interests of their national armed forces for the practical implementation of the Collective Security Treaty of May 15, 1992, unless otherwise specified by relevant international treaties.
Kazakhstan also receives right to purchase military equipment at local prices of the CSTO member states.
The document was ratified by Belarus, Russia and Tajikistan.
