PM of Kazakhstan, EBRD President discuss expansion of cooperation

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin during the talks with EBRD President Sir Suma Chakrabarti said the country plans to continue a fruitful cooperation, the government"s press service said.
According to him, joint efforts will allow to increase EBRD investments into Kazakhstan up to $750 million by the end of this year.
The two dicsussed implementation of joint projects in the field of ensuring sustainable economic growth.
Other issues of the meeting were energy sector, municipal infrastructure, transport, "green" economy, renewable energy, oil sector.
Suma Chakrabarti confirmed interest in further development of relations.
Since 1993, EBRD invested more than $8 billion in the economy of Kazakhstan.
