Tashkent, July 4, 2019. /Kabar/. Representatives of Kyrgyzstan are invited to the Great Silk Road international folklore music festival, which will be held on July 11-13 in Margilan, Uzbekistan, the press service of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan reported.
The main goal of the festival is to contribute to the preservation of intangible cultural heritage, in particular, to the development and wide propaganda of folklore art, which reflects the way of life, outlook, spiritual and aesthetic world, and inner feelings of the people.
Exhibitions on folklore art, national instruments, clothing, craftsmen's articles, sculptures, works of art and applied arts will be organized within the festival.
Folklore and ethnographic groups from 12 countries are expected to participate.
