Almost $90 million required for restoration of Arys

AKIPRESS.COM - Restoration of Arys city affected by ammunition explosion requires 34.5 billion tenge, including 100,000 tenge payments to each resident, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov said at a plenary session of the Senate, Zakon.kz reports. Member of the Parliament Ali Bektayev noted that the state budget reserve is increasing by 72.2 billion tenge and asked Smailov how much money will be spent for Arys restoration.
According to Smailov, as of July 1, 34.5 billion tenge, including payments to each resident (100,000 tenge) in the amount of 4.5 billion tenge are needed for Arys.
"2 billion tenge are covered by state budget reserve, 1 billion tenge - from Turkestan regional budget, 1.5 billion tenge - humanitarian aid," he said.
50% of money for Arys is planned to be collected from regional budgets, and 50% from the state budget reserve, Smailov said.
