Bishkek, July 4, 2019. / Kabar /. Head of the Dutch Economic Office in Almaty, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Niderandas Frederick Olthof, visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic. Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Rima Apasova met with the guest.
During the conversation, the sides discussed organizational issues regarding the upcoming business event in October 2019, aimed at establishing business contacts with Dutch companies.
At the moment, more than 20 companies of the Netherlands have confirmed their participation in the upcoming business forum. These are producers of agricultural equipment, irrigation systems, vegetable stores, poultry farming, the greenhouse sector, potato processing, dairy farming, equipment for the production of feed, meat, etc.
Frederick Olthof noted that Dutch farmers express high interest in finding partners in Kyrgyzstan.
"We know Kyrgyzstan as an agrarian country, you have a very well-developed small and medium business, the products obtained on fertile Kyrgyz land, be it vegetables, fruits, meat or dairy products, are famous for their ecological and taste properties. Therefore, we are very seriously considering the prospects for trade and economic cooperation, especially in agriculture, and we hope that the upcoming forum will mark the beginning of this partnership," said Olthof.
Currently, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic is actively preparing for the upcoming Kyrgyz-Dutch business forum.
Note that the Kyrgyz-Dutch business forum will be held in Bishkek for the second time, the first was organized in 2014, then the result of the business meeting was the signing of more than 5 mutually beneficial contracts.
