President Jeenbekov familiarizes with activity of Public Service Center in Batken

Bishkek, July 4, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov familiarized with activity of the Public Service Center (PSC) in Batken town as part of his one-day working visit to Batken Oblast, the press service of the President reported.
Almaz Mambetov, the Chairman of the State Registration Service, said that in pursuance of the Decree of the President of Kyrgyzstan "On Declaring 2019 the Year of Development of Regions and Digitalization of the Country", in order to improve services to the population and ensure proper working conditions, the PSC recently moved to a new building, where a unified window for the service of citizens is open. In 2018-2019, all services of the Center were automated. This includes receiving information by citizens, electronic queue, digital photography, receipt of documents for obtaining passports and citizenship, temporary and permanent registration, cash register services.
The President examined the Public Service Center, got acquainted with the principles of its work and noted with satisfaction the positive example of digitalization of the process, which fully corresponds to the goals of the declared Year.
Jeenbekov stressed that the full automation and digitalization of the work process should cover all public authorities throughout the country.
The Public Service Center has been operating since 2015 in Batken.
Today, July 4, the head of state is in Batken oblast for one-day working visit, his press service said.
