AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will hold the first extended session of the government on July 15, Prime Minister Askar Mamin said.
"An extended meeting of the government with participation of the President will take place next Monday. We will discuss these issues (economy), mayors should be ready," he said.
Last extended sesion of the government was held in January 2019 under chairmanship of Nursultan Nazarbayev, who was the head of state. Then participants touched the results of social and economic development of the country and set up measures for further economic growth.
Nazarbayev left the office of president of Kazakhstan in March 2019. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at a snap election obtained 70.96% of votes and became a new president.
