Activist detained near Akorda, demands meeting with President Tokayev

AKIPRESS.COM - Activist Sanavar Zakirova has been detained by guard near the Akorda, when she was broadcasting live on Facebook, Vlast.kz reports.
Zakirova earlier said on Facebook that she and several people will write a joint letter to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on July 9, where they will demand to create a commission for reconsideration of judicial decisions and arrange a meeting with President of the country.
The activist several months ago attempted to register a party. She claimed that authorities purposefully opposed her to do so. After, she sued the mayor's office of Almaty, prosecutor's office and Nur Otan.
