AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin visited the Turkestan region to inspect the progress of restoration of damaged houses, social facilities and engineering networks in the town of Arys, his press service said.
Following the results of the inspection of the facilities, Askar Mamin chaired a meeting on the restoration of Arys.
Governor of the Turkestan Umirzak Shukeyev said that as part of the provision of social assistance to city residents, 650 low-income and large families were assigned targeted social assistance and payments were made.
The leaders of the ministries of defense, labor and social protection of the population, industry and infrastructure development, healthcare, education, internal affairs, digital development, innovation and the aerospace industry reported on the ongoing work on the provision of measures of social support, medical services, housing restoration.
Today, the repairs have been completed in 676 houses.
Summing up the meeting, the Prime Minister Askar Mamin noted that all regions, national companies, representatives of big business of the country are actively involved in rebuilding the city.
"All the main work on the restoration of Arys should be completed by August 1," Mamin said.
The head of the Government instructed to intensify work on the timely restoration of damaged business facilities, transport and engineering infrastructure, to take comprehensive measures for medical support and to prepare educational facilities for the start of the new school year.
