President Tokayev offers to make singe housing policy

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev proposed to make a single "understandable" housing policy by consolidating all housing programmes, Zakon.kz said. The head of state has tasked to prepare proposals on this issue until September 1, 2019.
Tokayev said that the housing queues in the regions are increasing by more than 2 times since 2012.
"The queue is always rising. Therefore, Yelbasy (the leader of nation) has initiated a "happy family" programme with the mechanism of house lending under 2% interest rate. This good programme is working for several months," Tokayev said.
