Bishkek, July 16, 2019. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov has instructed Head of the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications, his advisor Dastan Dogoyev to digitize 189 services by the end of the year, Dastan Dogoyev told during the briefing on the results of the meeting with the head of state.
"The issue of the concept of digitalization of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2019-2020, as well as the implementation of priority and important projects was considered. The President emphasized certain points. This is the need to create comfortable conditions for citizens and businesses from the side of public services through the development of digital technologies. The issues of exclusion of the citizens’ practice in terms of providing certificates in receive public services. Also, the results of the activities of the state administration of the Center for Electronic Interaction were presented. And information on the measures taken by the Government and the State Committee on the incorporation of public services into e-format, was also presented," Dogoyev said.
The head of the State Committee noted that following the results of the meeting, instructions were given.
"The first is to digitize 189 services by the end of the year. Instructions were given within the framework of implementation of the Presidential Decree on Regional Development and Digitalization to ensure the development of the Aimak system, which should ensure automation of the activities of local self-government bodies and thus provide municipal services in e-format. Instructions were given to ensure equal conditions for the participants as part of the Safe City project. The President also instructed to ensure the protection of personal data in digital format and to strengthen the coordination of the activities of public authorities in the field of digitalization," he added.
In addition, Sooronbay Jeenbekov instructed Dogoyev to strengthen awareness in the regions.
"I told the President about the creation of a national headquarters for digitalization, according to which it is planned to create headquarters at the level of districts and cities, which will coordinate the work on the ground," he said.
