Kyrgyz ambassador to China meets with Kyrgyz participants of World's Got Talent contest

Bishkek, July 16, 2019. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to China Kanayim Baktygulova, as well as representatives of the Embassy and Kyrgyz students studying in China, on July 11 visited Changsha (Hunan Province, China) to support the participants of the final stage of the World's Got Talent international talent contest Atai Omurzakov and the Totem Show dance group, who adequately represented Kyrgyzstan at the world-famous competition.
In the course of the TV program, the ambassador addressed the audience with a speech, congratulating Omurzakov and the Totem Show group on the reaching the final and wished all the participants success, the press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy in China reported.
In the framework of the visit to Changsha, the Kyrgyz ambassador also met with the Head of the Changsha Foreign Affairs Office Zheng Lihong and Deputy Director of the Changsha People's Association of Friendship with Foreign Countries Li Yi. The sides discussed topical issues of bilateral interregional cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China, including through the establishment of fraternal relations.
On the same day, a meeting was held with Zhou Sun, Deputy Executive Director of Hunan Provincial Television, during which special attention was paid to the importance of strengthening Kyrgyz-Chinese relations through intercultural dialogue and exchange, as well as the possibility of establishing contacts between Hunan Provincial Television and the Kyrgyz media. Baktygulova also met with Kyrgyz students studying in Chinese universities.
The Totem Show dance group dropped out of the finals of the World’s Got Talent contest, held in China. Video of the performance was downloaded on Youtube channel.
Kyrgyz dancer Atai Omurzakov is manager of the group.
