Uzbekistan Airways has resumed flights through air space of Pakistan, Trend reports with reference to Uzbek media.
Thus, the Delhi – Tashkent flight has once again been carried out via air space of Pakistan.
"The lifting of the restrictions will allow to return ‘initial economic calculations, which were planned for when creating this flight route," the report said.
On February 27, 2019 Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority has announced the shut down of the air space of the country for commercial flights following the claim of Pakistan army, that they have hit two Indian military aircrafts, which have violated the air space over disputed region Kashmir.
The restriction on the flights over Pakistan have been extended a number of times since then. Thus, UzAirways had to readjust regular flights to Amritsar, Dehli, Mumbai, Singapore, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.
