Chinese entrepreneurs intend to build tourist caravanserais in Samarkand

Tashkent, July 17, 2019. /Kabar/. Chinese entrepreneurs plan to build caravanserais in Samarkand for their tourists. This became known during a meeting of Samarkand Region’s administration with a Chinese delegation led by Director General of the BES Cultural Tourism Group organization, the press service of the Samarkand Region’s Department of Tourism Development reported.
Chinese guests took the initiative to create modern caravanserais, which will be convenient for Chinese tourists and combine restaurants, hotels, shops and souvenir shops.
The Chinese side expressed its readiness to invest $100 million in Samarkand for the implementation of the project. At the end of the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of further cooperation in the sphere of education.
