Bishkek, July 17, 2019. /Kabar/. Two documents were signed at the Kyrgyz-Korean Business Forum, held in Bishkek, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Amangeldy Davletaliyev said.
"Today's Business Forum and the first official visit of Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon to Kyrgyzstan and an impressive delegation of more than 120 company representatives are inspiring. We look forward to the practical results of the visit. Only today two documents were signed: construction of the enterprise for production of fiber optic cables, which is a good basis for the development of Internet communication and computer technologies in Kyrgyzstan and the development of resort services (SPA tourism), which will contribute to the development of tourism in Kyrgyzstan," he said.
He said after the speech of the Prime Minister of Korea the advent of Korean technologies to the agricultural sphere in Kyrgyzstan is expected. "They appreciated the organic purity of our products. Kyrgyz honey is widely distributed in Korea and now they are interested in supplying other foodstuffs from Kyrgyzstan. We are well placed to increase the volume of supplies to Korea," Davletaliyev said.
According to his data, the majority of Korea's supplies to Kyrgyzstan are cosmetic products. Technology is expected to be delivered in the near future. Kyrgyzstan, in turn, supplies agricultural products, which it intends to increase.
The Kyrgyzstan-South Korea Business Forum was organized as part of the Korean prime minister’s official visit to Kyrgyzstan.
